Inspired by Edvard Gorey

Homage to Edward Gorey, the extremely witty American artist and illustrator. Because it alway struck me that his sense of humor was closer to that of the British isles, I changed the name to Edvard, because I thought it would be fun to hint at his Irish ancestry. The letter W is a descendant of the letter V and it did not come into existence until after the Norman Conquest of England in 1066. Hope nobody minds me taking that liberty in spelling.
